An attractive baby shower centerpiece would be a crowd-drawer in any shower. Floral arrangements, though still an acceptable centerpiece, have been overthrown by the more popular two- to three-tier diaper cake.

The diaper cake is a real bundle of joy to behold and is the most popular baby shower centerpiece nowadays because of its beauty and practicality. It is composed of several diapers, around 60-120 pieces depending on the size of the centerpiece you want to make. Yes, these diapers are reusable since sanitation is maintained even as these are piled up to form layers. These are bound together with thin strips of ribbons and added trimmings are miniature stuffed animal-toys like teddy bears, frogs or Walt Disney cartoon characters. If the expected baby is a boy, the ribbon-trimmings could be in powder blue or pastel yellow; and if it is a girl, more delicately pastel-colored trimmings are often used, like baby pink or pastel violet.

Since huge floral arrangement also makes for attractive baby shower centerpieces, these are still popular though regarded nowadays as a bit too formal for welcoming the little angels.
